The FX Server is a software product that expands the capabilities of one or more FX Supervisory Controllers. The FX Server collects, stores, and provides access to large amounts of information (such as alarms, events, and histories) sourced from one or more FX Supervisory Controllers. The FX Server also coordinates the integration of multiple FX Supervisory Controllers networked together on a single project by providing network-wide automation and coordination, such as master scheduling, system-wide database management, and integration with enterprise software applications.
FX Supervisory Controllers are Web-based supervisory-class controllers in the Facility Explorer product family. FX Supervisory Controllers manage networks of field controllers using open communication protocols, such as such as BACnet®, LONWORKS®, and N2 protocols. FX Supervisory Controllers support a full set of building automation features, such as scheduling, alarming, histories, data sharing, energy management, totalization, and customized control routines, which are specifically designed for commercial facilities.

***It is strongly recommended that a Calderwood Automation technician performs the start-up on any Johnson Controls VSD's. During start-up, a Commissioning Report is completed by the Calderwood Automation certified VSD Series Drives Commissioner and submitted to both JCI and Eaton at the completion of the VSD commissioning. At this point, the customer qualifies for the extended warranty (3 years as opposed to standard 2 years). ***
